It is seen as

努力、诚实和坚韧

hardworking, honest and persevering.

今年，随着我们继续

And this year, as we continue to

应对新冠带来的影响

deal with the impacts of Covid-19,

我不禁想到那些

I can’t help but think of those

正在努力确保所有人

who are working hard

平安无虞的人

to keep us all safe.

自疫情开始以来

Since the start of the pandemic,

加拿大华人贡献着

Chinese Canadians have contributed

他们集体的力量

to our collective effort

这体现在很多方面

in so many ways.

因此 值此中国新春来临之际

So, as we kick off

the Chinese New Year.

让我们对所有的加拿大华人朋友

Let’s give thanks

to the many Chinese Canadians

因为你们持之以恒的努力

who are stepping up

and putting others before themselves.
